American X-ray DR

American X-ray now offers a complete direct radiography (DR) solution

In conjunction with American X-ray's Opal-PACS, our new DR offering is advanced, effective, and quick. Enhance your workflow with superior image quality. The new line of American X-ray DR solutions use integrated flat panel detectors to provide a superior imaging experience over standard analog film or CR. American X-ray's DR offers advanced image quality and full DICOM functionality allowing for the most efficient workflow.

The DR solution (powered by CMT's SmartRAD) offers an intuitive user-friendly console with state-of-the-art connectivity. DICOM-compatibility allows the new DR to work seamlessly with the tested Web-based Opal-RAD PACS. X-ray parameters for exposure, review, post-processing operations and filming can be controlled from a single console.

DRV Radiographic System

Now you can combine all the usability and patient positioning benefits of the Del Medical DRV Radiographic System with the benefits of digital imaging technology. The Del Medical DRV Digital Upgrade lets you add the power of today's flat panel detector technology and advanced image processing software to most DRV Radiographic System configurations. This combination gives you fast digital imaging, high resolution and the industry's most user-friendly software interface with proven technology.

Outstanding Image Quality
The DRV Digital Upgrade provides consistent, excellent image quality that meets the highest standards.

Performance
The DRV Digital Upgrade produces a high resolution image within 3 seconds and eliminates the need to handle film and film cassettes, tripling patient throughput and overall departmental productivity.

Safety
The DRV Digital Upgrade delivers outstanding image quality with a significantly lower radiation dose. Reducing the level of patient exposure to radiation while maintaining high image quality is a key goal in advanced radiography.

Cost Effectiveness
The DRV Digital Upgrade eliminates film and chemistry costs and processor maintenance, which results in reduced labor costs with higher department efficiency.

Secondary Image Processing
Pyramid Analysis Contrast Enhancement

P.A.C.E.TM Noise reduction, histogram equalization and edge detection are basic things all DR companies will perform on an image.
P.A.C.E.TM does this, as well as applying organ specific processing which implements an anatomically specific approach to image processing. This dramatically reduces noise and other artifacts in the image. Even low-dose images are significantly improved. P.A.C.E.TM accommodates varying exposures and conditions across the gamut of equipment, and x-ray exposure levels.
P.A.C.E.TM images appear sharp and clear, and structures within translucent and dense areas can be viewed simultaneously.
